Date of Birth: February 1, 2025

Health Testing: OFA Good hips, normal patellas and cardiac ultrasound clear by cardiologist, genetically clear for HCM, PKD, PKDef and SMA, and is FeLV/FIV negative.

Sadly Ryoka developed an open pyometra (an infection of the uterus). We initially tried treating it in hopes of preserving her fertility, but unfortunately she wasn’t responding as we’d hoped, so the decision was made to spay her for her health and wellbeing.

She is a sweet, friendly girl. She can be a little shy at first and will need some time to settle in. You can see video of her here: https://www.facebook.com/reel/1559748561991565!

Ryoka absolutely loves spending time in our outdoor cat enclosure, so I would especially love a home where she can continue to safely enjoy the outdoors with a catio or secure enclosure.

She is currently recovering from her spay but will be ready to go in a couple weeks. If you think you might be the right home for her, feel free to reach out for more information.

Pricing & What’s Included

Our pricing reflects the planning, veterinary care, and program investment that goes into each litter before kittens are placed in their new homes.

Health stewardship is central to our breeding program. Beyond genetic screening, our cats receive ongoing veterinary evaluation, including cardiac monitoring as they age, viral screening, and careful breeding selection. Veterinary care, vaccinations, and spay/neuter procedures are performed by our licensed veterinarian to ensure each kitten receives consistent, individualized attention.

Current pricing is as follows:

Kittens — $2700
Young adults 1-2 years of age — $1500
Retired adults 2-5 years — $1000
Retired adults 5+ years — $800

We offer a $200 discount for two kittens as well as to returning families.

Our retired adults will also be spayed or castrated prior to placement and fully up to date on vaccines . Cats who have offspring in our breeding program may have a stipulation in their contract to attend a cardiac screening clinic(s) so we can continuously monitor heart health of animals from our breeding program (paid for by us).

Prices are reviewed periodically as program and veterinary care costs change.

What's included:

How to Purchase a BondSmith Maine Coon

We want the process of welcoming a BondSmith kitten into your home to be smooth and clear. Below is an overview of how we handle availability and placement.

Kitten Availability Status

NESTLING – The kitten isn’t yet available. For now, we’re simply enjoying watching this little one grow and develop.
AVAILABLE – The kitten is currently open for reservation.
OPTION – The kitten is either being considered for retention in our breeding program or has temporarily been secured for a family. If the latter they have 48 hours to pay their holding fee and sign their contract. Up to two kittens per family may be held at a time before they will become available again. It is possible this kitten may become available.
RESERVED – The kitten is fully committed to a family. The contract has been signed and the $500 holding fee has been paid. It is unlikely this kitten will become available again.

    Our Kitten Placement Process

    1. Become an Approved Future Home - The first step is to complete the Kitten Questionaire. This allows us to learn more about your home and determine whether a Bondsmith Maine Coon kitten is the right fit for you. Click here to access the application. There will be additional follow up discussion prior to approval.
    2. Securing your Maine Coon Kitten - Once you’ve become an Approved Future Home, you may choose an AVAILABLE kitten. Kittens become available typically around 3-4 weeks of age. If you are interested in an OPTION kitten, you can request to be next in line should the other family fail to reserve the kitten in the alloted time. Once a kitten has been selected they will gain the OPTION status and you will have 48 hours to sign our contract and pay the $500 non-refundable holding fee. This fee is payable via e-transfer or cash and is applied toward the purchase price of that kitten. Once these things have been received your kitten will gain the RESERVED status.
We are happy to have a video call prior to selecting your kitten. During the call you'll have the opportunity to meet the kittens, see their parents, view the environment they're being raised in, and ask any questions you may have. As a closed cattery, this allows families to get to know us and our cats while maintaining the health and biosecurity of our home.
    3. Final Payment & Pickup - Kittens remain with us until a minimum of 13–14 weeks of age to ensure proper development and socialization, and at least one week of recovery following spay/neuter surgery. At this time, we’ll make arrangements to deliver kittens to the local families or work out the delivery for our out-of-town folks.
